Using Infusionsoft just got easier!

Our mission and primary goal is simply to make YOUR life easier!

Infusionsoft is great, followup marketing is great, but to actually put it into place isn't always the easiest thing in the world. InfusionAlliance was created simply to bridge the gap between your business and Infusionsoft.

This is why the solutions we provide are built to be immediately usable, quick to implement and beautiful in their simplicity.

Step 1

These instructions assume you have at least a little experience with Joomla.

If you have a membership, email me for the files. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it if you don't have a membership, contact me to get started.

Install it as a community builder plugin.  In the Joomla administration system Go to Components, Community Builder, Plugins and then browse for the file to install it.

Once you have done that click on the plugin you just installed called "Infusion Alliance - Community Builder"

Activate the Plugin and then map your fields similar to what's shown below...

Plugin Setup

Setup fields without Contact0 so Contact0FirstName becomes FirstName custom fields like Contact0_CommunityBuilderStatus become just _CommunityBuilderStatus. When you create that custom field in Infusionsoft, name it Community Builder Status and make it a text field. You can also simply change that field in the mapping to any field you choose to store membership status in. Active is the value it's looking for in whatever field you map there.

Don't leave any mappings without an Infusionsoft field setup for it to go to or it won't work. You don't have to have all fields mapped, but if you select a community builder field in one of the drop downs, you have to have an Infusionsoft field for it to go to.

Your "numerical campaign ID" is the ID of a followup sequence you'd like people added to in your Infusionsoft account. I'd recommend setting up a new sequence just for this then if you want them sent into other sequences, simply have the sequence created just for this plugin add to the other sequences as one of it's actions.

Your plugin setup should look something like this...

alt

Once you've done all that, you'll need to setup a followup sequence in Infusionsoft to get them to buy your membership.

Make step 1 of the followup sequence cancel their membership in 30 days so they can have a 30 day trial. (or whatever amount of days you want for their trial.)

So in your Followup Sequence add a step that's delayed 30 days. Make it an action set, make the action "Set a field to a specific value" and make your community builder status field to "Inactive" like so...

alt

Make step 2 add them to whatever sales sequence you want that can upsell them into your membership.

alt

Then you'll need to do is to make it so that when someone buys the membership, you need to make the successful purchase action on whatever they purchased change the status field back to active like so...

alt

And the very last thing is to make it so when someone's card doesn't go through you do similar triggers again to turn them on and off when their payments decline or go through.

On this page https://infusionsoft.helpstream.biz/View.jsp?procId=c0cb840a1d2bfc54011d307ff0d3279b At the very bottom you'll see Automated handling of failed credit cards which has instructions on how to make triggers, your triggers should just change the field to "Active" or "Inactive" depending on if their card goes through or not.
